Aftab Pureval is the 70th Mayor of Cincinnati and the first Asian American to hold the office. Raised in Southwest Ohio by first-generation American parents, he has delivered record investments in affordable housing, balanced the city budget, and committed Cincinnati to carbon neutrality by 2050.

Under his leadership, the city launched mental health crisis response teams, attracted over $1 billion in new development, teen shootings have dropped 35%, and made major public safety investments that have strengthened all 52 neighborhoods.
